Overview:

Aswan and Luxor are served by the Sonesta Star Goddess Nile Cruise Ship. The 33 rooms on the ship are all enormous suites with individual balconies that are all named after well-known composers, lending the vessel a feeling of sophistication and elegance. The ship has 27 lavish Beethoven Suites, each measuring 40 metres, 4 luscious Mozart Suites, each measuring 35 metres, and 2 outstanding Chopin Suites (each 52m). None of the suites allow smoking. Only in public places is smoking permitted.

Luxor every Saturday

Day 1 Saturday

  • Maestro Online Travel representative will meet & assist you at Luxor airport / Railway station then transfer you to your Luxury Nile Cruise Sonesta Star Goddess.
  • Embarkation in the afternoon.
  • Lunch will be served on board.
  • Visit The East Bank in Luxor; visit the Karnak Temple which is the largest Pharaonic temple in the world. Originally established in the ruling period of the 11th dynasty, then visit Luxor Temple one of the most remarkable Pharaonic sites in Egypt. This temple is dedicated to the holy triad of Thebes, Amun, Mut, and Khunsu. The temple was established during the reign of the 18th dynasty.
  • Have your afternoon tea

  • Overnight in Luxor.

Day 2 Sunday

  • Breakfast will be served on board.
  • Visit the West Bank, visit the city of Dead in the West Bank, view the Valley of the Kings inaugurates visits with the Valley of the Kings; the most important tomb in the Valley of the Kings is that of Tut Ankh Amun that was discovered intact by Howard Carter in 1922. The tombs are featured with their colorful wall paintings of mortuary scenes of ancient Egypt, Resort to visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, built more than 3500 years ago; the temple is featured with its magnificent location at the bottom of one of the Theban Mountains, its imposing terraces, and many wonderful architectural features like the chambers of Anubis, Hathor, and the Pont Hall, finally visit Colossi of Memnon the surviving items of the Temple of Amenhotep III and one of the landmarks of Luxor
    Sail to Edfu.

Day 3 Monday

  • Breakfast will be served on board.
  • Visit Edfu Temple which is dedicated to the worship of the god Horus, the temple is famous for its 36 meters height pylon and the wonderful statues of the falcon god, Horus
  • Sail to Kom Ombo
  • Lunch will be served on board
  • Visit Kom Ombo Temple which is quite impressive and it consists in fact out of two temples; one dedicated to Sobek, while the other is dedicated to Haroeris.
  • Sail to Aswan
  • Have your afternoon tea.
  • Dinner will be served on board
  • Enjoy the Egyptian Galabya party

Day 4 Tuesday

  • Breakfast will be served on board.
  • Pay a visit to the High dam which was built to preserve the water of the River Nile and produce electricity, then visit the Temple of Philae constructed more than 2000 years ago, the temple dedicated to Isis, is featured with its pylon, marvelous columns, and various chapels. 
  • visit the Granite Quarries.
  • Maestro Online Travel representative will transfer you to Aswan airport/railway station for final departure.

Day 1 Tuesday

  • Maestro Online Travel representative will meet you at Aswan airport / Railway station and assist you in all your procedures then transfer you to your super deluxe Nile Cruise Sonesta Star Goddess.
  • Embarkation in the afternoon before Lunch.
  • Lunch will be served on board.
  • Enjoy sailing on the Nile by felucca around Kitchener's Island & Agha Khan.
  • Have your afternoon tea.
  • Dinner will be served on board.
  • Enjoy a Nubian folkloric show.
  • Overnight in Aswan.

Day 2 Wednesday

  • Breakfast will be served on board.
