Day 1 Cairo / Alexandria Sightseeing
At approx 07:00 am Maestro Online Travel tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo/Giza to start your amazing tour to Alexandria & El Alamein for one night, first you will visit Pompay's Pillar this is certainly one of the most famous columns of Egypt. The Pillar of Pompey and the two other sphinxes around it are the only remaining items of a large great temple that was called the Serapuem and was founded in the 3rd century AD.  Constructed out of red granite with a height of 27 meters and a remarkable stone capital, and then drive to visit catacombs, The Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa is perhaps the largest and most mysterious historical burial sites in Egypt. The catacombs were discovered in 1900 and this ancient necropolis belongs to the 1st and 2nd centuries AD. The catacombs represent a wonderful example of the mixture and the blend between the Pharaonic and Roman types of art and architecture. Then you will have your lunch in a local restaurant in Alexandria. Proceed to visit Qaitbay Citadel; The Qaitbey Fort is surely one of the landmarks and most important historical sites in Alexandria. The Mamluk Sultan Qaitbey built this marvelous military construction in 1479.  It was constructed in the same exact place as the ancient Pharaoh's lighthouse and with some of its stones as well. Every day, the fort welcomes a large number of tourists who visit Egypt, then drive to your hotel in Alexandria & overnight.
 
Day 2 El Alamein Sightseeing / Cairo
Breakfast at your hotel, your professional tour guide will join you to El Alamein by a private air-conditioned vehicle, less than 120km west of Alexandria lies Al Alamein, in Arabic it means "two flags" over 45 years ago German & Allied forces were locked in combat here, today thousands of their servicemen lie enshrined beneath their flags & Al Alamein is now a place of pilgrimage, El Alamein has a war museum with collectibles from "the civil war" and other North African battles. You can go to the Italian and German Military Cemetery on Tel el-Eisa Hill just outside the town. The German cemetery is an ossuary with the remains of 4,200 German soldiers, built in the style of a medieval fortress. Also, The Italian cemetery is a mausoleum containing 5.200 tombs, Many tombs bear the soldier's name; there is a separate Greek cemetery at El Alamein, There is also a Commonwealth war cemetery, built and maintained by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission, with graves of soldiers from various countries who fought on the allied side, Lunch will be served during your day trip, then drive back to Cairo by Maestro Online Travel representative.
